All our products are 100% manufactured, handcrafted and produced in Italy.

Where is Made in Italy Accessories located?

Made in Italy Accessories is based in Rome Italy.

We at made in Italy accessories do our best to respond to all our emails as soon as possible. If you have sent an email and have not received a response within 48 hours please re send your email. Please note we are based in Rome Italy so there may be a time difference. We work 5 days a week and all emails received on a weekend or public holiday will be forwarded the following business day.

 

I made an enquiry about a product and I have not yet received a response, what do I do?

If you have contacted us via the link located below each product 'contact us' you will be contacted as soon as possible. If you did not receive an automated email 'Confirmation of receipt of your enquiry' when you clicked send then you have not supplied a correct email address. You will need to resend the message with your correct email address. The team at made in Italy accessories do our best to ensure that we respond to all emails as soon as possible. Please note we are located in Rome Italy so there may be a time difference. We work 5 days a week so all emails received on a weekend or public holiday will be actioned the following business day.

 

If an item has been removed that was online, can I pre order?

No, if we have removed an item that means we have sold out and our manufactures are no longer producing that particular item.

 

If a product is currently out of stock, how long will it take before it’s online?

All our products are handcrafted by skilled professionals so it will take approximately 4-6 weeks from the moment we place the order. If you are interested in a product that is currently out of stock, it's just a matter of sending us an email and we will respond to your enquiry within 24-48 hours. 

 

How do you measure the bags?

All our bags are measured in cm. We provide the height, width, depth and drop handle.

Please note the width may vary from the bottom to the top or vice versa depending on the style. In the product dimension section of each product we provide the wider measurement of the two.

Do your delivery costs incorporate taxes, duties or fees?

No, excluding EU destinations. Unfortunately we are dealing with over 200 countries so it’s impossible to know which countries impose import taxes, custom duties or fees. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. The customer will be required to check with their local customs office prior to placing an order. If a fee has been levied then the customer will be responsible to pay the courier the cash amount when goods are delivered. Please refer to taxes and duties in Delivery Rates & Policies for further information.

 

How will I know the amount that I have been charged for delivery?

You will be able to see the cost of delivery charges at the commencement of checkout, this is prior to entering your details and finalising payment.

 

How will I know if my order has been shipped for delivery?

All orders take approximately 24 to 48 hours to be processed. When finalised you will be notified via email and supplied with a tracking number so you can check the status of your order on line. Please refer to shipping and delivery for further information.

 

What couriers do you use?

After much research our preferred couriers are DHL and FEDEX.

 

Which courier will deliver my order?

The amount on delivery costs will depend on many factors, size, weight and destination. We use DHL for the larger items, the more economical of the two couriers, you will note the amount at the time you enter into your cart and select country destination to where you want the parcel delivered. For the smaller items we use FEDEX boxes so you will note that both FEDEX & DHL will appear, then you as the customer can select which of the two couriers you prefer.

 

Will I be charged separate delivery costs for each item I order?

No, you will be charged one shipping amount. For example if you place an order of one or more items then the system will automatically calculate the weight and dimensions of all items and select the appropriate parcel and cost associated.

 

How long will it take for my order to be delivered to my door?

Please refer to shipping and delivery timetable. Please note they are estimates only and should be used as a guide.

 

What happens if I am not home to receive my order?

The courier will make two attempts to deliver your order to your door. If both attempts fail, it will be the customer’s responsibility to contact the courier to make arrangements for pick up.

 

Can I have my order delivered to another address which is different to my billing address?


Yes, when you place your order you will have an option to enter another address where you prefer to have your parcel delivered. We recommend that you enter an address where someone will be home to sign for your order.


 

Do you deliver to P.O Box?


No, we do not deliver to a P.O box. We only deliver to an address where someone will be able to sign for the order.


 

Can I use my credit card to purchase items?


Yes, you can pay for items with your credit card using PayPal. We chose PayPal as it’s safer, easy way to pay. Please refer to PayPal website for more information.


 

PayPal will not accept my credit card, what do I do? 

You can contact us and we will do our best to assist you in identifying the issue. Please note when you enter your billing address ensure that your address corresponds as per the credit card address when making a purchase. In addition you have the option to nominate a shipping/delivery address if different to the billing address. Please refer to PayPal website for more information

 

Can I retreive the purchase order that I recieved in my inbox so I can buy the product?  

No, when you place an item in your cart and complete the checkout process and then click go to payment you will automatically receive the purchase order in your inbox. If you are interrupted or leave the page without completing or finalizing payment the system will automatically cancel the order and you will need to re submit a new order. If this does occur a member of our team will contact you via email within 24-48 hours to inform you of cancellation. 

Will I receive a confirmation email when I buy a product?

You will automatically receive a purchase order in your inbox when you click go to payment and enter into PayPal website. When the transaction has been completed & approved your receipt from PayPal is confirmation of payment & receipt of purchase.   

 

If I am dissatisfied with the product can I return it for a refund?


If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your product you can return the product within 10 working days of receipt of your delivery. Please refer to Returns for further information.
